At the core of this campaign is the introduction of “The Things”—a lovable, fluffy family that represents the British Gas customer experience. The Things are calm and relaxed, knowing that British Gas is always there when needed, handling all the small but important things that keep a home running smoothly.

The film concludes with the message: “You make it a home, we keep it warm and working. British Gas – Taking care of things.”

The ad will air during Gogglebox this evening, marking the beginning of an innovative and expansive media campaign, developed in partnership with OMD UK. The campaign will extend across multiple channels, including high-impact out-of-home (OOH) displays, print and radio partnerships, cinema advertising, digital activations, social media takeovers, and ad-free BVOD experiences. This comprehensive campaign is designed to introduce The Things to a wide audience, reassuring British households that British Gas is always there to take care of their needs.
