Bouygues Construction’s building subsidiaries to standardise their names in the French regions

Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, 3-6-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Bouygues Construction’s building subsidiaries in the French regions have standardised their names. In northern and eastern France, Norpac and Pertuy Construction have merged and become Bouygues Bâtiment Nord-Est. In the west, Quille Construction has now become Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest. In central and south-western France, DV Construction is now named Bouygues Bâtiment Centre Sud-Ouest. In south-eastern France, GFC Construction will now be known as Bouygues Bâtiment Sud-Est. Finally, in the French Antilles and French Guiana, GTC Construction has become Bouygues Bâtiment Outre-Mer.

Pascal Minault, CEO of Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe, said: “By standardising our company names, we are emphasising our desire to bring the vast know-how of a major Group to our customers while maintaining a relationship of proximity with them.”

Bouygues Construction’s building subsidiaries operating in France (excluding the Paris region) and adjacent European countries employ more than 5,000 people and recorded €2.2 billion of sales in 2014*. Established in their regions for several decades, they make a contribution to the dynamic profile of the local economic and social fabric and work in partnerships with a large number of SMEs.

The new naming system also illustrates the synergies and pooling of resources among Bouygues Construction’s building subsidiaries. They are particularly noted for their commitment to health and safety on construction sites, which is their top priority, as well as their determined fight against illegal labour.
