Bouygues Construction Strengthens Executive Team With Appointment of Clotilde Solier

(IN BRIEF) Bouygues Construction has appointed Clotilde Solier as Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee, effective 1 September 2026. She succeeds Julien Toqueboeuf, who is joining Equans. Solier has worked within the Bouygues group since 2002 and has held senior roles across management control, financial control, internal audit and operational finance, including positions at Bouygues Energies et Services, Axione, Bouygues Bâtiment International and Bouygues Bâtiment France. Most recently, she served as CFO of Bouygues Bâtiment France, where she focused on risk management, financial reporting and data-driven performance.

(PRESS RELEASE) PARIS, 3-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Bouygues Construction has appointed Clotilde Solier as Chief Financial Officer, with Solier also joining the company’s Executive Committee led by Pierre-Eric Saint-André, Chief Executive of Bouygues Construction.

She succeeds Julien Toqueboeuf, who is moving to Equans, another company within the Bouygues group.

Solier brings more than two decades of experience across finance, audit, management control and operational support within the Group, with roles spanning Energies & Services, Buildings & Civil Works and Telecommunications.

Appointment builds on long career within Bouygues

Solier said her experience at Bouygues Construction has given her a detailed understanding of the company’s businesses and teams in France and internationally.

In her new role, she said she will focus on working closely with operational teams while combining risk management, performance management and support for business development.

Aged 48, Solier has built her career through a series of financial and operational leadership roles across the Bouygues group.

After graduating from NEOMA Business School, she joined the Group in 2002 in the management control department at Bouygues Energies et Services, now part of Equans.

She later worked in financial control at Bouygues Construction before joining Axione in 2009, where she oversaw the financial operations of the Concessions division.

Experience across audit, international construction and regional finance

In 2015, Solier moved into Bouygues Construction’s internal audit department.

Three years later, she took responsibility for financial control at Bouygues Bâtiment International while also serving as CFO for the USA–Caribbean region.

Since 2021, she has served as CFO of Bouygues Bâtiment France.

In that role, Bouygues Construction said she strengthened the fundamentals of risk management and improved the quality of financial reporting while increasing the use of data to support operational performance.

The company said Solier’s appointment reflects its ability to develop internal talent and provide employees with long-term career progression across different businesses and geographies.
