BlackRock, Inc. now owns more than 5% in Wärtsilä Corporation
(PRESS RELEASE) HELSINKI, 22-Jun-2020 — /EuropaWire/ — Leading Finnish company Wärtsilä Corporation, active in the marine and energy markets, has announced that it has been notified by BlackRock, Inc., the world’s largest asset manager with $7.4 trillion in assets under management, that their aggregate holding in Wärtsilä Corporation has crossed above the 5% disclosure limit on 18 June 2020. The notification is made in accordance with the Finnish Securities Market Act Chapter 9 § 5.
