(PRESS RELEASE) LUDWIGSHAFEN, 24-Nov-2023 — /EuropaWire/ — BASF SE (ETR: BAS), the world’s largest chemical producer, announces that BASF Services Europe GmbH has inaugurated its new service Hub in Berlin, located in the SCALE office complex in the Prenzlauer Berg district. Covering 15,000 square meters across eight floors, this new space will accommodate approximately 2,800 employees. The hub will serve as the central location for providing a wide range of business management services to BASF Group companies in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Previously situated in Berlin’s Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district for 18 years, BASF Services Europe GmbH’s move to the modern and sustainable workspace signifies its commitment to Berlin and aims to enhance its attractiveness as an employer, especially for international applicants.

The new office building offers flexible workspaces, including project and meeting rooms for two to 200 people, enabling hybrid meetings. An innovative smart app allows employees to book workstations and rooms, manage appointments, and navigate the building using a 3D floor plan via browsers or mobile devices. The app also facilitates locating colleagues present on-site.
