Bentley attracted thousands of car enthusiasts to its stand at this year’s Festival of Speed with its latest luxury performance models

  • New Continental GT3-R makes its global debut
  • Only a few Continental GT3-Rs remaining for UK customers

Crewe / Goodwood, 30-6-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — Bentley is attracting significant interest at this year’s Festival of Speed, with thousands of car enthusiasts heading to its stand to see the latest luxury performance models.

The highlight of Bentley’s presence at Goodwood, and making its global debut, is the new Continental GT3-R. Limited to 300 examples, this exclusive model is already proving immensely popular with customers, with only a handful of cars still available to UK customers just 10 days after the car was announced.

The Continental GT3-R is the most dynamic and fastest-accelerating Bentley ever produced. Inspired by Bentley’s race-winning Continental GT3 racer, the GT3-R is powered by Bentley’s race- and road-proven 4.0 litre V8 engine, producing 580 PS and 700 Nm of torque. A weight reduction of 100 kg combines with torque vectoring and shorter gearing to deliver a breath-taking driving experience.
