Proximus launches Bizz Switch for the self-employed and the liberal professions

BRUSSELS, 12-12-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — Today Proximus is launching Bizz Switch, a very useful service for the self-employed and the liberal professions, which allows two different numbers to be used on one smartphone with one mobile subscription. This unique service on the Belgian market is the perfect solution for customers who want to be able to keep private life and work completely separate.

Bizz Switch lets customers add a second mobile or fixed number to their private mobile number. Their personal mobile number will continue to work permanently, but they can switch the second number, i.e. the business number, on or off at any time using the Bizz Switch app.

If the business number is switched off, calls to that number will be directed to a specific business voicemail. An in-built planner also makes it possible to switch off the business number automatically, for instance only on Friday evening.

Bizz Switch is available in two versions:

Bizz Mobile Switch: two mobile numbers on 1 smartphone

Here, customers combine their personal mobile number on their smartphone with a second mobile number of their company. For 7 euro per month (excl. VAT), customers receive a second mobile number (new or existing) and can use the Bizz Switch app.

Bizz Office Switch: one mobile number and one fixed number on 1 smartphone

Here, customers combine their personal mobile number on their smartphone with a fixed line. This allows them to take their fixed line with them wherever they go. For 7 euro per month (excl. VAT), customers receive their fixed number on their smartphone too and can use the Bizz Switch app.

To use Bizz Switch, customers need a smartphone with a Bizz mobile subscription. They can link a second mobile or fixed number to it for business calls. The app works on smartphones with an Android 2.3, iOS 6 or Windows Phone 7.5 or later operating system.
