The project aimed to integrate modern display technology into these stores to highlight the latest trends while aligning with YAYA’s branding and improving the overall shopping experience. BCS Telecom & ICT faced the challenge of ensuring seamless control of the display content from YAYA’s head office despite network connectivity limitations in the buildings. The team chose Sony’s BRAVIA Professional Displays for their reliability, high-quality image performance, and built-in media player feature.

Addressing Connectivity Challenges with Innovative Solutions

The project team encountered an immediate hurdle in integrating high-spec displays into aging buildings with limited Wi-Fi and network connectivity, due to construction materials that hindered signal strength. The solution needed to enhance the in-store environment and be adaptable to the restricted network conditions present in some locations.

Paul Keesman, CEO of BCS Telecom & ICT, explained, “With no data connections in the walls, we needed a display solution that included an internal media player, enabling a stable internet connection without requiring additional ethernet ports or wiring.” The BRAVIA Professional Displays from Sony proved to be the perfect choice, allowing for high-quality content delivery without compromising on the store’s sleek design. “This solution ensured that the shop floors remained clean, with no extra hardware or cables cluttering the space,” Keesman added.

A Perfect Blend of Quality and Brand Integration

BCS Telecom & ICT selected Sony’s BRAVIA FW-75BZ40L and FW-55BZ40L models, which not only addressed the structural limitations but also elevated the shopping experience with their Deep Black Non-Glare technology and excellent lighting. To seamlessly integrate the displays with YAYA’s aesthetic, BCS Telecom & ICT designed custom white frames that can be easily mounted around the screens, blending perfectly with the brand’s identity. This collaboration has proven successful, with plans to expand the installation of BRAVIA displays into an additional twenty stores in the coming year. The frame is available in various colours and is exclusively offered to Sony Professional Displays & Solutions partners.
