Bayer and M2i Group Join Forces to Offer Sustainable and Non-Toxic Crop Protection Solutions

M2i Group, a leader in pheromone production in Europe, uses its patented bio-sourced micro-encapsulation technology to produce long-lasting pheromone controls without residues or plastic waste. The products will provide a minimum of 90 days of protection in high-value crops.

Bayer plans to integrate M2i’s pheromone products, including innovative application technology, into a digital system of solutions, including pest monitoring tools and other synthetic and biological products tailored to the needs of growers. M2i’s expertise in pheromone crop protection has enabled the company to develop innovative methods to control pests through attraction, trapping or mating disruption, maintaining pest populations at manageable levels.

M2i’s products add to Bayer’s existing line of pheromone-based biological products, including Vynyty Citrus® – the first pheromone-based crop protection product on the market formulated with pheromones and natural pyrethrum for use in citrus fruits.
