(IN BRIEF) BASF has been recognized as a 2022 Supplier of the Year by General Motors (GM) at its 31st annual Supplier of the Year event. The award recognizes global suppliers that exceed GM’s requirements and provide innovative technologies at the highest quality in the automotive industry. This is the 16th time BASF has received the award. The company was recognized for providing GM with high-quality products and outstanding service. In total, 121 suppliers were recognized at the event, representing 17 countries.

(PRESS RELEASE) LUDWIGSHAFEN, 11-Apr-2023 — /EuropaWire/ —  BASF (ETR: BAS), the world’s largest chemical producer, has been recognized as a 2022 Supplier of the Year by General Motors (GM) at its 31st annual Supplier of the Year event in San Antonio, Texas, USA. This marks the 16th time that BASF has received the award.

GM’s Supplier of the Year award recognizes global suppliers that exceed GM’s requirements and provide innovative technologies at the highest quality in the automotive industry. Each year, GM’s Supplier of the Year recipients are selected by a global, cross-functional GM team for their performance in criteria such as Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services, Customer Care and Aftersales, and Logistics.
