BASF Announces Leadership Changes in Nutrition and Health Divisions

(IN BRIEF) BASF has announced leadership changes in its Nutrition and Health divisions. Julia Raquet will assume responsibility for the Division Europe, Middle East, and Africa, while Dr. Martin Volland will take charge of the Division Nutrition & Health. These changes follow the appointments of Dr. Katja Scharpwinkel and Anup Kothari to the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE, effective February 1, 2024, and March 1, 2024, respectively.

(PRESS RELEASE) LUDWIGSHAFEN, 31-Jan-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Julia Raquet (48), Senior Vice President, Nutrition Ingredients, Ludwigshafen, will, as President, assume responsibility for the Division Europe, Middle East and Africa, Ludwigshafen, effective February 1, 2024. She succeeds Dr. Katja Scharpwinkel, who has been appointed to the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE effective February 1, 2024.

Dr. Martin Volland (50), Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Sustainability, Ludwigshafen will, as President, assume responsibility for the Division Nutrition & Health, Ludwigshafen, effective March 1, 2024. He succeeds Anup Kothari, who has been appointed to the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE effective March 1, 2024.
