Barcelona footballer Luis Suarez immortalized in AkzoNobel paint on the walls of his old school in Montevideo, Uruguay

AMSTERDAM, 20-4-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — The Barcelona player was the subject of a special mural created by Brazilian artist Paulo Cosentino. He used our Inca brand to paint an action shot, based on a picture which Suarez himself selected.

Part of the company’s global “Let’s Colour” initiative, the project follows another recent artwork by Cosentino, who also used AkzoNobel products to create a mural of Brazilian footballer Neymar at the Neymar Institute in Sao Paulo.

The Inca brand has a long history of supporting schools in Uruguay, notably through its National Art Expression Contest for primary schools, which last year celebrated its 30th anniversary.

In total, more than 340,000 liters of paint has been supplied to help refurbish around 600 schools throughout the country.
