Atos signed a 3-year framework agreement with Shell to provide both IT and non IT services

Utrecht, 15-3-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Atos, an international IT services company, today announced that it has signed a 3-year framework agreement with Shell to provide both IT and non IT services to support its business activities in the Netherlands. As preferred supplier, Atos now provides experts in IT, Accounting & Finance, Contracting & Procurement, Human Resources, Customer Services and Communication & Marketing.

Shell has decided to reduce its number of IT and non IT service providers from 18 to 6. With only a limited number of partners, strategic and pro-active performance is required to deliver experts in relevant areas. The change enables Shell to realise substantial savings on management costs. In recent years, Atos has proved itself as a reliable outsourcing partner for Shell, capable of meeting Shell’s strict criteria. The status of preferred supplier for IT and non IT services allows Atos to enhance its visibility within the Shell organization and to further reinforce its market position for IT and non IT services in the oil and gas industry.
