ArcelorMittal Sets Date for Annual General Meeting and Updates on Board Committee Chair

Scheduled for April 30, 2024, at 3 p.m. CET, the meeting will take place at the Company’s registered office, situated at 24-26, boulevard d’Avranches, L-1160 Luxembourg, Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.

Shareholders eligible to cast their votes at the General Meeting will be determined based on their status as of the record date, which is set for April 16, 2024, at midnight (24:00 hours CET).

All pertinent documentation, including the convening notice, the Annual Report 2023, the Form 20-F 2023, and voting forms, will be accessible on ArcelorMittal’s official website at www.arcelormittal.com. In other news, effective March 28, 2024, Mrs. Karyn Ovelmen has relinquished her role as chair of the Board’s Audit & Risk Committee. A new chairperson for the Committee will be appointed during the next Board of Directors meeting. Until April 30, 2024, Mrs. Ovelmen will fulfill the duties of the position on a caretaker basis. Importantly, she will maintain her role as the Company’s Lead Independent Director.
