ANDRITZ Supports Successful Commissioning of Xuong Giang Paper’s TM16 Tissue Line

(IN BRIEF) Xuong Giang Paper has successfully commissioned its new TM16 tissue production line at its mill in Bac Giang Province, Vietnam, supported by a complete stock preparation system supplied by ANDRITZ. The project strengthens Xuong Giang Paper’s production capacity and supports its ability to deliver premium-quality tissue products to domestic and international customers. ANDRITZ supplied the full stock preparation process from pulping to refining, including an LBKP high-consistency refining line, an NBKP low-consistency refining line, and a tissue trimmings line, with PrimeRefine HC T high-consistency refining technology at the centre of the system. The technology is designed to improve short-fiber development, tissue softness and strength, fiber utilisation, pulp quality and production efficiency. The TM16 project continues a long-standing partnership between Xuong Giang Paper and ANDRITZ, following two earlier tissue line start-ups supplied by ANDRITZ.

The successful start-up marks another step in Xuong Giang Paper’s long-term development strategy and strengthens the company’s tissue manufacturing capacity.

It follows the successful start-up of two previous tissue production lines supplied by ANDRITZ to Xuong Giang Paper.

ANDRITZ supplied the complete stock preparation process for the TM16 line.

The scope covered all stages from pulping to refining.

It included an LBKP high-consistency refining line for bleached hardwood kraft pulp, an NBKP low-consistency refining line for bleached softwood kraft pulp, and a tissue trimmings line.

At the core of the system is ANDRITZ’s PrimeRefine HC T high-consistency refining technology.

The technology has been specifically developed for tissue applications.

It is designed to enhance short-fiber development, improve tissue softness and strength, optimise fiber utilisation and deliver consistently high-quality pulp.

The system also supports increased production efficiency.

Xuong Giang Paper offers a comprehensive product portfolio ranging from tissue jumbo rolls to high-quality finished tissue products.
