(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 8-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Altor Fund IV has completed the divestment of Flex IT, a European specialist in circular IT solutions, to investment group Eurazeo, where the company will be combined with Eurazeo-owned T1A Group.

The transaction concludes Altor’s ownership journey with Flex IT and creates a larger European circular IT platform with combined revenues of approximately €150 million.

Angelo Bul, CEO of Flex IT, will become Chief Executive Officer of the combined group.

Flex IT has developed into a major European circular IT specialist

Flex IT provides a broad range of IT lifecycle services based on circular economy principles, including distribution, rental and demo services, buyback, refurbishment and IT asset disposition (ITAD).

The company supports approximately 13,000 customers, including retailers, SME resellers, value-added resellers, corporates and public-sector organisations.

Flex IT operates from offices in eight European countries and serves customers in more than 35 countries worldwide.

Its operational ITAD and refurbishment capabilities are based in Leiden, the Netherlands, and Toruń, Poland, supporting the company’s ability to extend the useful life of IT equipment and manage devices across multiple stages of the technology lifecycle.

Flex IT generated approximately €120 million in revenue in 2025.

Combination with T1A creates €150 million circular IT platform

Flex IT and T1A Group have completed their combination, creating a larger European business focused on circular IT services and lifecycle management.

The combined platform has approximately €150 million in revenues and is intended to provide customers with broader capabilities across the entire lifecycle of IT equipment.

The integration brings together Flex IT’s scale and service capabilities with T1A Group’s existing position under Eurazeo ownership.

With Angelo Bul appointed CEO of the combined company, the business will enter its next growth phase with a broader European footprint and an expanded service offering.

Altor highlights development of Flex IT under its ownership

Jens Browaldh, Partner at Altor, said Flex IT’s management team has transformed the company into one of Europe’s leading circular IT specialists.

He highlighted the company’s ability to combine scale, expertise and flexibility across the IT lifecycle and said Altor had been impressed with the progress achieved in recent years.

According to Browaldh, the transaction provides Flex IT with a strong new ownership structure and the opportunity to continue expanding through its combination with T1A Group.

Flex IT targets full lifecycle management of customer equipment

Angelo Bul, CEO of Flex IT, said Altor had acted as both an active owner and strategic partner during the company’s development into a European leader in circular IT.

He said the combination with T1A Group will enable the business to take responsibility for a greater share of the customer equipment lifecycle, from initial delivery through use, recovery, refurbishment and eventual disposition.

Bul added that Flex IT is looking forward to entering its next stage of growth alongside T1A Group.

Transaction concludes Altor’s original Infotheek investment

The divestment also marks the conclusion of Altor’s original investment in Infotheek.

Altor previously divested Centralpoint in 2021, while the sale of Flex IT in 2026 completes the remaining part of that investment.

Jens Browaldh said the two divestments to strategic buyers had unlocked substantial strategic value and that the combination with T1A Group provides Flex IT with a strong platform for continued development.

Circular IT model supports longer equipment lifecycles

Flex IT’s business model is centred on extending the useful life of IT hardware and reducing the need for equipment to move directly from first use to disposal.

By combining distribution, rental, buyback, refurbishment and ITAD services, the company is positioned to help customers manage technology assets more efficiently across their lifecycle.

The combination with T1A Group is expected to strengthen this model by creating a larger platform capable of serving customers across more markets and supporting a wider range of circular IT requirements.
