(PRESS RELEASE) LUND, 1-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Marking its 40th anniversary in China, Alfa Laval, a global leader in heat transfer, separation, and fluid handling, is set to showcase its pioneering sustainable technologies at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), one of the world’s largest trade events. Since its arrival in China in 1984, Alfa Laval has significantly invested in manufacturing, service capabilities, and sustainability innovations, contributing to China’s growing clean energy landscape.

This year, Alfa Laval has been invited to present on the main stage, where President Northeast Asia Christian Thomsen and Energy Division Vice President Julien Gennetier will introduce the new T25 SW semi-welded plate heat exchanger. This event, the first time Alfa Laval has launched a global product in China, will be broadcast live on CCTV on November 6. The company will also release its “Sustainable Cities: Heating and Cooling” white paper, emphasizing the importance of energy-efficient solutions in urban development.

Vice President Julien Gennetier highlighted the company’s dedication to the Chinese market, noting the unveiling of several “firsts” at this year’s CIIE, including the industry’s first low-emission stainless steel plate heat exchanger, manufactured in Alfa Laval’s Jiangyin Factory. With these innovations, Alfa Laval aims to strengthen partnerships with industry and government stakeholders, aligning with China’s dual carbon goals and accelerating progress in sustainable energy.

Alfa Laval’s ongoing investments have made China one of its largest markets, and with its continued focus on new technologies, Alfa Laval is poised to contribute to China’s clean energy future. Visitors can experience Alfa Laval’s solutions in Hall 3, Booth 3C6-01, and see the main stage presentation on November 6, from 14:30 to 14:45 Beijing time.
