AF Gruppen Secures Contract for New Aker Hospital Structural Project

(IN BRIEF) AF Gruppen has been awarded a NOK 212 million contract by Helse Sør-Øst RHF to build the Structural Shell Somatics Base West at New Aker hospital. The project includes groundwork, concrete foundations, and prefabricated structures, with work starting in February 2025 and expected completion by April 2026. (PRESS RELEASE) OSLO, 25-Oct-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Helse Sør-Øst RHF has selected AF Gruppen to carry out the Structural Shell Somatics Base West project at the upcoming New Aker hospital. This major contract, valued at NOK 212 million (excluding VAT), involves foundational groundwork, concrete installation for walls and slabs, and the use of prefabricated concrete and steel structures.

AF Gruppen, with its established expertise in hospital construction—including recent work on the New Hospital in Drammen—is set to commence work on this project in February 2025, with completion anticipated by April 2026.
