Aegon Sets October 8 Extraordinary General Meeting on US Redomiciliation Plan

(IN BRIEF) Aegon has published the agenda for its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, scheduled for 8 October 2026, where shareholders will be asked to approve the company’s proposed redomiciliation to the United States, first announced at Aegon’s Capital Markets Day in December 2025. The meeting materials include the agenda, the Shareholder Circular published on 26 August 2026, proposed future organisational and governance documents, and an Omnibus Incentive Plan. The EGM will be held virtually, with Aegon’s virtual shareholder meeting policy applying, and shareholders can access registration, participation and voting details through the company’s dedicated EGM webpage.

(PRESS RELEASE) THE HAGUE, 1-Sep-2026 — /EuropaWire/ — Aegon has published the agenda for its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, or EGM, scheduled for 8 October 2026.

The meeting will seek shareholder approval for Aegon’s proposed redomiciliation to the United States, which was announced at the company’s Capital Markets Day in December 2025.

Aegon said the EGM agenda and related materials are now available to shareholders.

These materials include the Shareholder Circular published on 26 August 2026.

The Shareholder Circular provides information about the proposed redomiciliation that will be submitted for approval at the EGM.

It also includes Aegon’s proposed future organisational and governance documents, as well as an Omnibus Incentive Plan.

The EGM will be held virtually.

Aegon’s policy on virtual shareholder meetings will apply.
