ABP Southampton Raises £3000 for ANDYSMANCLUB at Charity Quiz Night

(IN BRIEF) ABP Southampton recently organized its first charity quiz night at the Port of Southampton’s Ocean Cruise terminal, raising an impressive £3000 in support of ANDYSMANCLUB (AMC), their charity of the year. Over 180 participants in 22 teams, inclujding both customers and employees, attended the event, which featured a mix of trivia, raffles, and optional point-boosting jokers for the quiz teams. The fundraiser exemplifies ABP Southampton’s commitment to supporting mental health initiatives, with proceeds going towards AMC’s vital work in providing free peer-to-peer support groups for men across the UK and online.

(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 16-Mar-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — ABP Southampton held a charity quiz night in aid of ANDYSMANCLUB raising £3000.

This was the first charity quiz night to be held at the Port of Southampton’s Ocean Cruise terminal. Over 180 people in 22 teams attended the event, with a good mix of customer and employee tables, including a team from ANDYSMANCLUB. The evening included a raffle, where customers and the ABP Southampton Social Team donated prizes; quiz teams also had the option to play a joker to double their points on a round of their choice, costing the teams £10 to play!

The next charity fundraiser is the Southampton Marathon, where we have asked all ABP runners to share a link with their family and friends to boost our fundraising levels for ANDYSMANCLUB (AMC).

AMC is ABP Southampton’s charity of the year. The charity is a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the UK and online.
