ABLV Bank the primary sponsor of Riga Shipping Gala Dinner

RIGA, 05-May-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — On 27 April 2017, an event for shipowners and representatives of companies operating in shipping sector – Riga Shipping Dinner 2017 – took place for the second time. The event was aimed at establishing and maintaining professional contacts between shipowners and top-level executives of companies operating in shipping sector.

ABLV Bank was the primary sponsor of the main part of the event, namely, the gala dinner at Biblioteka No. 1 restaurant. ABLV Bank also organized a special seminar devoted to not only bank services, shipping lending and trade financing, but also to shipsale, freight market and ship insurance issues. The initiator and the main organizer of the Riga Shipping Dinner was Marine Services Group, a group of companies, which insures maritime risks, sells and purchases ships, as well as specializes in maritime laws.

We are delighted that the event is growing bigger and becoming more popular. This year it gathered 180 participants from 15 countries; the demand was so high that some applicants never left the waiting list due to the limited number of seats at the event.
