Hans-Dieter Holtzmann is the new head of Deutsche Bank’s EU representation in Brussels

Frankfurt am Main / Brussels, 16-1-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Dr. Hans-Dieter Holtzmann (43) is to take over as Head of Deutsche Bank’s EU representation in Brussels on 1 February 2013. On behalf of the Management Board he will be responsible for coordinating relations between Deutsche Bank and the institutions of the EU at all levels and for facilitating ongoing political dialogue with the representatives of EU authorities, political parties and associations.

Hans-Dieter Holtzmann will be taking over from Dr. Ansgar Tietmeyer, who will be assuming a new role at the beginning of February as Head of Public Affairs at Deutsche Bank in Berlin.

Holtzmann studied Economics in Detroit and Nuremberg, where he also earned a doctorate. He has been working for Deutsche Bank since 1996 and has extensive experience with public institutions, political parties and associations. From 1997 to 1998 he participated in an exchange programme at the Federal Chancellery. At Deutsche Bank, one of his positions was as an executive assistant to the former Bank spokesman, Dr. Rolf-E. Breuer, as well as taking on roles at Deutsche Bank Research and in Corporate Finance in London and Germany.

He has been working for the bank in Berlin since 2006. There, he was responsible for coordinating the bank’s activities in the German capital and for maintaining contacts to political institutions and to selected politically-oriented corporate clients.
