German Data Center Security Specialist Kentix Joins ASSA ABLOY to Strengthen Digital & Access Solutions Portfolio

Founded in 2008 and based in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, Kentix employs around 40 people and generated approximately EUR 8 million in sales in 2024. The acquisition strengthens ASSA ABLOY’s presence in the data center sector, expanding its Digital & Access Solutions portfolio under the EMEIA Division. The company reported sales of around EUR 8 million (approximately SEK 90 million) in 2024, maintaining a healthy EBIT margin. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to ASSA ABLOY’s earnings per share (EPS) from the outset, further reinforcing the value of the transaction.
