(PRESS RELEASE) LONDON, 24-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Logicor has completed the development of a new 23,000 sqm logistics hub in Quarrata, Tuscany, reinforcing its commitment to providing sustainable, strategically located facilities for goods distribution in Italy.

The newly built complex, located in the province of Pistoia, features a 22,000 sqm warehouse divided into two units of 11,500 sqm each, alongside 1,000 sqm of modern office space. Developed on a 34,000 sqm plot acquired via the Mazer fund, managed by Kryalos SGR and owned by Logicor, the site enjoys a prime position close to the A11 Florence–Pisa motorway and its junction with the A1-Autostrada del Sole, only 20 km from Florence.

Certified BREEAM Very Good, the facility integrates advanced sustainability features designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. These include a 2 MWh photovoltaic system, LED lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, rainwater harvesting systems, and landscaped green areas to promote biodiversity.

“Tuscany is an increasingly strategic location for logistics in Italy due to its strong industrial footprint. We have invested in this region with a long-term view and are excited to see the evolution of projects that will provide a solid foundation for our expansion in Italy in 2025 and beyond,” said Graeme Hepburn, Logicor Country Manager Italy.

The project was developed with the contribution of TechBau (General Contractor), Jones Day (Legal), Blossom Avenue Partners (Planning and Design), and EY (Transactional Due Diligence).

Logicor is also continuing to expand its footprint across central Italy, with multiple projects under development in the province of Rome. In Pomezia, a logistics hotspot less than 30 km south of the capital and 33 km from Fiumicino Airport, the company is advancing real estate projects covering over 90,000 sqm of logistics space, further consolidating its position as a leading developer and manager in the sector.
