(PRESS RELEASE) MUNICH, 9-Sep-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — BurdaVerlag has expanded its enterprise AI platform AISSIST through a strategic partnership with ElevenLabs, bringing advanced AI audio tools directly into publishing and media workflows. With this integration, AISSIST will offer enterprise-ready audio solutions ranging from transcription and text-to-speech to audio production and the development of conversational voice agents for both internal and external applications.

Initially launched in 2023 for Burda employees and now used by more than 2,500 staff, AISSIST became accessible to external companies in July 2025. The platform unifies AI technologies from multiple leading providers in one user-friendly interface, enabling text generation and editing, document chat, translation, image creation, transcription, and automated multi-step workflows. By adding voice capabilities, AISSIST now moves further into the frontier of AI audio research, powered by ElevenLabs’ cutting-edge speech models.

ElevenLabs develops AI audio systems capable of producing natural, versatile, and context-aware speech in 32 languages, also powering its conversational voice agent platform. Through this partnership, BurdaVerlag will combine its publishing expertise with ElevenLabs’ voice innovations, enabling AISSIST users to produce multilingual audio content at scale and interact with AI through intuitive voice-driven agents. The collaboration also paves the way for media and publishing teams to adopt voice-based workflows more rapidly as digital interfaces increasingly evolve toward audio.

Mati Staniszewski, Co-Founder and CEO of ElevenLabs, said: “We’re putting the engine for modern audio straight into AISSIST. It lets Burda’s teams create and scale content instantly, across formats and languages, with advanced voice and agent AI at the core.”

Rebecca Gottwald, COO of BurdaVerlag, added: “The strategic partnership with ElevenLabs marks a milestone for AISSIST and our vision of a future-oriented AI platform. By integrating advanced audio tools and conversational agents, we are giving our users more efficient, flexible, and dynamic workflows that push the boundaries of publishing innovation.”
