HELLA Aftermarket expands brake system portfolio with new calipers, discs, and bundled solutions for workshops and wholesalers

(IN BRIEF) HELLA Aftermarket, part of FORVIA HELLA, has expanded its brake systems portfolio to reinforce its position as a full-range supplier for the independent aftermarket. The deposit-free brake caliper range has been extended by 150 new references, bringing the total to 500, while the brake disc offering has grown by 50 items, including cost-optimized one-piece discs for BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles. For the first time, HELLA is also introducing brake bundles combining pads and discs for popular models such as the VW Golf, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. With these additions, HELLA now achieves nearly full market coverage, including over 90 percent of electric and hybrid models, while offering customers added efficiency through technical support and a strong international distribution network.

(PRESS RELEASE) LIPPSTADT, 1-Sept-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — HELLA Aftermarket, the independent spare parts and workshop business of FORVIA HELLA, has announced significant expansions to its brake systems portfolio, further strengthening its role as a full-range supplier in the independent aftermarket. Alongside a broader offering of brake calipers and discs, HELLA is introducing product bundles of brake pads and discs for the first time—providing wholesalers, workshops, and end customers with greater convenience and efficiency.

In its deposit-free brake caliper range (NEWMAN portfolio), HELLA is increasing coverage from 350 to 500 article numbers, ensuring compatibility with an even wider variety of vehicle models. The brake disc program is also growing by around 50 new references, spanning conventional and two-piece discs. The extension includes cost-optimized one-piece brake discs designed for various BMW and Mercedes-Benz models, serving as an alternative to OE-spec two-piece discs. These one-piece variants, manufactured from high-carbon gray cast iron, meet ECE-R 90 standards, are fully coated for enhanced corrosion protection, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding driving conditions.

For the first time, HELLA is offering brake bundles that pair pads and discs in a single package for high-demand vehicle models, including the VW Golf, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. These bundles simplify warehousing and ordering processes for wholesalers and workshops while offering end customers tailored, ready-to-install solutions.

“With this targeted expansion, we are coming close to full market coverage, giving our customers even more flexibility and availability in HELLA’s proven quality,” explained Dr. Marcel Wiedmann, Head of Independent Aftermarket at HELLA. “Our goal is to provide the right product for nearly every vehicle model while making life easier for our partners across the value chain.”

Today, HELLA offers 99 percent coverage for brake pads and discs and more than 85 percent coverage in brake hydraulics, with over 90 percent coverage for brake pads in hybrid and electric vehicles (over 85 percent for discs). This comprehensive availability is supported by HELLA’s global logistics network, fast delivery capabilities, and extensive technical services, including its expert hotline, HELLA Partner World for wholesalers, and HELLA Tech World for workshops.
