Auchan group’s real estate subsidiary Immochan announced new governance

5-7-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — Immochan, the commercial real estate company, 100% subsidiary of the Auchan group, is reorganized around 5 departments, under the coordination of Benoît LHEUREUX, who has been appointed Executive Chairman.

1. Immochan France and Luxembourg Department, led by Hervé Motte, General Manager covers the present scope of Immochan in France and Luxembourg, as well as CITANIA, urban development subsidiary and EUROPA CITY.
2.  Immochan International Department, led by Valentin Serrano, General Manager includes all Immochan activities at international level and the support services (Human Resources, Financial Control, Information System, Management Control) For supporting teams in the country, three strategic expertise departments have been created:

Marketing, Innovation & Communication Department, led by Eric Deleplanque will be to accelerate the speed of development of the Immochan sites and the quality of the “customer experience management” in every shopping centre. Guarantor for a close contact with our partners, brand clients and end clients.
4. Development, Promotion and Construction Department, led by Benoît Charles will support the Immochan-Auchan teams in the development and promotion of welcoming, long lasting and modern shopping and living centres.
5. Finance and Asset Management Department, led by Franck Allard will be to implement the new partnerships and dynamic management of assets strategy to accompany the acceleration of development of Auchan and Simply.

This new governance will be gradually set up from this summer on.

It is a response to the profound internal and external changes.

• To ensure an ambitious development of investments of more than €2 billion within 3 years, Immochan will work with private and public financial partners. This strategy evolution implies to reinforce the asset management activities.
• Immochan manages tailor-made projects, which are more and more complex and larger within different urban environment. Following this objective, the company sets up a support department expert in Development, Promotion and Construction, with a very assertive “Sustainable Development” policy.
• To anticipate the future, to keep ahead of retail evolutions and customers’ expectations, Immochan set up an innovative participating device to allow each employee of the company to contribute to creating attractive and good quality commercial solutions.

BIOGRAPHIES- IMMOCHAN NEW GOVERNANCE

Benoit Lheureux, Executive Chairman
57, married with 4 children, Benoit joined Auchan Dunkerque in 1981: Head of Section, Head of Division, Store Manager, then Manger of Englos and Regional Director. He went to Italy in 1993 to work as General Manager. In 1997 he became Deputy Administrator of La Rinascente, managing Hypermarkets and was Chairman of Supermarkets and Real Estate and later of Hypermarkets and
Real Estate. On his return to France in 2008, he was appointed Chairman of Immochan, Manager of Human Resources and Group Development, member of the Board of Directors. And in September 2010, Chairman of Immochan and Director of Group Development, Member of the Executive Committee.

Eric Deleplanque is 61. He joined Immochan in 1996 after a 20-year career in real estate. He ran Immochan France from 1998 to 2001, then Immochan International from 2001.

Hervé Motte is 61. He joined Auchan in 1976 as Department Manager. He then joined the Purchasing Department where he took on different responsibilities until becoming Manager of the MSP Purchasing Department. In 1991 he was appointed General Manager of Flunch. Ten years later, in 2001, he returned to the Auchan group and became the General Manager of Immochan France.

Valentin Serrano is 53. He joined Alcampo in 1986 in the Management Control department at head office. In 1990 he also took on the responsibility for Objectives and Planning. After spending a year in a store, he became Management Controller of Alcampo in 1996. In 2001 he became head of the
Group Management Control and Planning at Croix. In 2005 he returned to Madrid to become General Manager of Immochan Spain until June 2013. He hands over his position to Manuel Teba, appointed Real Estate Managing Director Spain. Aged 47, Commercial Manager of Immochan Spain, Manuel joined the company in2000. He started his career as Head of Section.

Franck Allard is 52. He joined Auchan in 1986 in the Consolidation department in Croix. He became Management Controller in Turin in Italy, then was Financial Manager of Auchan Argentina for 5 years. He returned to Croix as Consolidation and Accounting Systems Manager in 2001, then a Financial Manager of Auchan France in 2004. In August 2012 he was appointed Financial Manager of Immochan.

Benoît Charles is 45. He began his career as a jurist with Banque Worms, before moving to Décathlon where he specialized in stores and development from 1994 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005 he worked with Apsys, before joining Immochan France to take over Promotion in the Nord region. He moved to Poland in July 2007 as Promotion Manager, and became General Manager of Immochan Poland the following year. Laurence Paquet takes over as her successor. Appointed General Manager, she joined AUCHAN in 1988 as in-house lawyer, then Immochan in 1992 as Head of the Legal Department, then Head of the Legal and Head of Legal and Finance Departments before in
2010 becoming Regional Director, Immochan France Nord-Normandie-Picardie-Littoral.
