Vodafone Business and Maroc Telecom Join Forces to Power Morocco’s Digital Future

(IN BRIEF) Vodafone Business and Maroc Telecom, part of Emirates Telecommunications Group (e&), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deliver enterprise-focused digital services in Morocco. The partnership initially targets smart city and energy management solutions, and will later expand to cover cloud services, cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and more. This collaboration aligns with Morocco’s digital development ambitions and enhances Vodafone’s presence in Africa through Vodacom. Combining Vodafone’s global platforms with Maroc Telecom’s regional expertise, the partnership will provide scalable, tailored managed services across sectors like logistics, manufacturing, retail, and public services, with comprehensive support throughout the customer lifecycle.

(PRESS RELEASE) BERKSHIRE, 25-Apr-2025 — /EuropaWire/ — Vodafone Business has taken a major step forward in its expansion across North Africa by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maroc Telecom, part of Emirates Telecommunications Group (e&), to deliver advanced connectivity and digital services to enterprise clients in Morocco. This collaboration begins with a strategic focus on smart city infrastructure and energy management solutions, aligning with Morocco’s goal to become a leading digital hub by 2030.

Building on the strategic Vodafone-e& alliance, the new partnership leverages Vodafone Business’s global digital platforms and Maroc Telecom’s deep-rooted local expertise to deliver tailored digital services that comply with in-country regulations. The alliance enhances Vodafone’s footprint in Africa—where it is already active in eight countries through Vodacom—and provides a powerful springboard for enterprise innovation in Morocco.

In future phases, the collaboration will expand to include a broad spectrum of enterprise solutions, including Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN), Mobile Private Networks, cybersecurity, and cloud-based services. These services are designed to help businesses across Morocco—and multinational enterprises with regional operations—digitally transform and scale their activities seamlessly across borders.

Enterprise clients in key sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, public services, and retail will benefit from a single, unified portfolio of managed services, with robust support across pre-sales, implementation, billing, and ongoing management—all built to ensure operational efficiency and long-term customer success.

Fanan Henriques, Product & International Business Director at Vodafone Business, noted:
“By partnering with Maroc Telecom, we are catalysing the digital evolution of Moroccan enterprises. Together, we’ll support the country’s strategic ambitions with secure, scalable digital solutions that empower startups, businesses, and public organisations alike. This partnership combines global reach with local depth—an essential formula for driving digital adoption.”

This new agreement also reinforces the broader strategic collaboration between Vodafone Business and e&, which was formalised in October 2023 to jointly support multinational clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by combining capabilities, infrastructure, and geographic coverage.
