This collaboration, set to be showcased at the MEDICA trade show in Düsseldorf from November 11-14, combines Henkel’s expertise in functional inks, Covestro’s high-performance TPU substrates, and Quad Industries’ capabilities in designing and manufacturing printed electronics. Together, the companies aim to accelerate the development of stretchable, wearable healthcare devices, such as a new ECG patch designed for continuous heart monitoring.
Henkel, with its Loctite line of conductive, resistive, and dielectric inks, will highlight its extensive portfolio and partnerships that support innovation in medical wearables, diagnostics, and hygiene applications. Covestro, known for its Platilon® TPU films, contributes skin-friendly, soft, and breathable substrates optimized for printed electronics.
