(PRESS RELEASE) TRIESTE, 8-Nov-2024 — /EuropaWire/ — Fincantieri and Crystal, known for luxury cruise experiences, have finalized an agreement for the construction of an advanced, high-end cruise ship. This new vessel, part of a two-unit deal initially announced on June 27, represents a significant investment, with a value estimated between €500 million and €1 billion, contingent on financing and other conditions.

The cruise ship will share design similarities with its sister ships, featuring a gross tonnage of 61,800 and space for around 690 guests. Interiors crafted by leading architectural firms will incorporate high-quality materials, with all-suite accommodations, private verandas, and special single-occupancy options tailored to solo travelers. The ship will offer one of the highest crew-to-passenger ratios in the sector, providing guests with personalized attention and service.
