(BIT: ENI), an Italian multinational energy company with focus on innovation, efficiency and accessibility for all, has unveiled a new program, HVOlution, aimed at promoting the use of HVOlution, Eni Sustainable Mobility’s first diesel produced from 100% renewable raw materials, among its suppliers’ vehicles involved in fuel transportation to Eni Live Stations.

The initiative seeks to contribute to the decarbonization of the heavy transport sector, which encompasses approximately 300 vehicles in Italy’s distribution service. Pure HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) has already been utilized for over 200,000 kilometers, making a significant impact on reducing CO2 emissions.

HVOlution is a biofuel derived from waste raw materials, vegetable residue, and non-food chain competing crop oils. It aligns with Eni’s commitment to sustainable development and underscores its efforts to decarbonize and promote technological neutrality and inclusiveness throughout the supply chain.
