1 December 2022: Leadership changes at Skanska Group

(PRESS RELEASE) STOCKHOLM, 1-Dec-2022 — /EuropaWire/ — Skanska (STO: SKA-B), a world leading project development and construction group, has announced the appointment of Ståle Röd as its new Executive Vice President with effect from January 1, 2023. In his new position, Ståle will be responsible for the business units Skanska Central Europe, Skanska UK, Skanska Norway, and Skanska Residential Development Europe. Ståle currently holds the position as Business Unit President Skanska Norway.

Skanska’s CEO Anders Danielsson will, in addition to the overall responsibility for Skanska’s operations, be responsible for the business units Boklok Housing and continue to be responsible for Skanska Sweden and Skanska Finland. Activities relating to rental residential will be reported in the Commercial Development stream with Executive Vice President Claes Larsson in charge. Claes will also continue to be responsible for the business streams Commercial Development and Investment properties.

The above will enter into force on January 1, 2023.

As of January 1, 2023 Stein Ivar Hellestad, currently CFO Skanska Norway, will step in as Acting Business Unit President for Skanska Norway.

The announcement of the new Business Unit President for Skanska Norway will be communicated separately as soon the recruitment is completed.
