Trinity College Dublin launches new online career management system

DUBLIN, 17-Jul-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — MyCareer, an online career management system run by the Careers Advisory Service is now live for students, graduates, staff and employers.

Introduced as part of Trinity’s support for the employability and career development needs of students and graduates, the new system is designed to help users to confidently find their way through today’s fast changing job and postgraduate study markets.  Routine tasks such as appointment and event booking have been automated and the system allows for much greater tracking and reporting on activity within the Service.  From an employer perspective, the new system facilitates easier posting of vacancies.

MyCareer enables:

  • Students to book an appointment with a Careers Consultant, search vacancies, internships and employers, postgraduate courses and funding and book onto events with employers and the Careers Advisory Service.
  • Graduates to connect with the Trinity Careers Advisory Service, to search vacancies and employers, postgraduate courses and funding and view events with employers and the Careers Advisory Service.
  • Employers to advertise vacancies, view and book on to events and raise their visibility with the Trinity community. Postgraduate providers to advertise courses and funding opportunities.
  • Trinity staff to view and search opportunities for their students (vacancies, competitions, postgraduate courses and funding) as well as viewing events with employers and the Careers Advisory Service.

Whether you are a staff member, an employer, a student or graduate, please register and log in to MyCareer (https://mycareerconnect.tcd.ie/home.html) or via the Careers Advisory Service website home page www.tcd.ie/Careers . It’s quick and easy!

“All of us in the Careers Advisory Service look forward to working with the Trinity Community to continue to give our students and graduates access to the best career opportunities after graduating,” commented Sean Gannon, Director of the Careers Advisory Service.
