SGS approved independent third-party provider of certification services for hydrocarbon reserves in Mexico

SGS has been appointed as an approved independent third-party provider of certification services for hydrocarbon reserves by the Mexican authorities.

VOORBURG, 17-Aug-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Companies providing hydrocarbons reserves certification services in Mexico must be inscribed in the Register of Reserves. On June 10, 2016, The National Commission of Hydrocarbons inscribed SGS de Mexico S.A. de C.V. in the Independent Third Parties Register of Reserves under file number 220.1185/2016.

The registration was made after verifying that SGS is an accredited expert in the field of classification, analysis, estimation, evaluation and certification of the quantities of reserves in Mexico.

The registration of companies in the Independent Third Parties Register authorizes SGS to provide services to oil operators and certify hydrocarbon reserves in Mexico.
