SABCA awarded a new contract to perform “300 Hours Phase Inspections” on Royal Netherlands Air Force’s F-16 fleet

BRUSSELS, 14-Mar-2017 — /EuropaWire/ — SABCA has been awarded a new contract from the Royal Netherlands Air Force to perform ‘’300 Hours Phase Inspections’’ on  its F-16 fleet.

The “300 Hours Phase Inspection” is a periodical overall check-up of aircraft’s critical components, systems and airframe integrity. It  mainly consists in a series of inspections to determine that no condition exists which, if not corrected, could result in a component failure or system malfunction. Any unsatisfactory inspection results in a deeper assessment and , if necessary, the performance of a corrective action in order to safeguard the aircraft’s reliability and preserve its availability until the next scheduled inspection.

The choice made by the Royal Netherlands Air Force to extend its co-operation with SABCA, demonstrates SABCA’s abilities to provide accurate, on-time and competitive answers to the most demanding requirements.

This new assignment is yet another confirmation of  the recognition of SABCA as a trusted first class maintenance, repair and overhaul services provider on F-16 as well as other fighter and trainer aircraft.

With strong shareholders (Dassault Group and GKN Aerospace/Fokker) and soon celebrating its first century in aerospace, SABCA 1200 highly motivated employees master all skills from early phases of “Build-to-Print” and “Build-to-spec” programs to full customer support.

In Space, SABCA is single source for design and manufacturing of all Ariane 5 rocket engine Actuators, VEGA launcher and Ariane 6 complete Thrust Vector Control (TVC) system.
