PiceaEraser™ is the first mobile erasure on the market to pass the ADISA claims test

Tempere, Finland, 30-Mar-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Piceasoft’s PiceaEraser™ is the world`s first product to pass the ADISA Claims Test process for mobile erasure. The forensic tests were carried out by Professor Andrew Blyth, Head of Information Security from University of South Wales and ascertained whether data was recoverable once PiceaEraser™ had been executed on a device. PiceaEraser™ passed on all tested devices – all forensic data recovery techniques, up to and including ADISA Test Level 1, failed to recover any data.

The technology tested was Piceasoft Ltd PiceaEraser™ 3, which is available to all channels, service hubs and retail shops. PiceaEraser™’s unique and patented browser based online version targets consumer and corporate segments.

“The Claims Test process replicates a forensic attack on the devices in question using a prescribed level of capability. Professor Blyth’s team mounted attacks on the devices tested and were able to evidence that no data was recoverable,” said Steve Mellings, ADISA.

“We are proud to have this certification for our mobile eraser product as first in the market especially because tests were done by professor Blyth who is the leading expert in this business,” said Jyri Roselius, Piceasoft CEO.
