Leonardo – Finmeccanica: The new company name for Leonardo – Finmeccanica – Società per azioni (S.p.a.) recorded with the Rome Company Register

ROME, 09-May-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Notice is hereby given that the updated text of the Articles of Association, containing the new Company’s name “Leonardo –  Finmeccanica – Società per azioni”, abbreviated form “Leonardo S.p.a.” or “Finmeccanica S.p.a.”, approved by the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting on 28 April 2016, has been recorded today with the Rome Company Register.

Under the current legislation the minutes of the Shareholders’ meeting, as well as the updated Articles ogf Associations (also with evidence of changes), are available to the public at the Company’s registered office, at Borsa Italiana S.p.A., on the Company’s website, as well as on the website of the authorised storage mechanism NIS-Storage.

Following the process of the reorganisation of the Finmeccanica Group’s companies, it should be noted that from January 1st 2016: the “Helicopters” division has absorbed the activities of AgustaWestland; the “Aircraft” division has absorbed part of the activities of Alenia Aermacchi; the “Aerostructures” division has absorbed part of the activities of Alenia Aermacchi; the “Airborne & Space Systems” division has absorbed part of the activities of Selex ES; the “Land & Naval Defence Electronics” division has absorbed part of the activities of Selex ES; the “Security & Information Systems” division has absorbed part of the activities of Selex ES; the “Defence Systems” division has absorbed the activities of OTO Melara and WASS.
