Jérôme Vitulo to succeed Charlotte Matringe as Secretary to the Board of Directors of Safran

PARIS, 1-9-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Jérôme Vitulo joined Safran on July 29, 2015 as Secretary to the Board of Directors, reporting directly to Alex Fain, Corporate Secretary. He replaces Charlotte Matringe, who has been named Vice President for Communications at Sagem.

Jérôme Vitulo, 46, holds a post-graduate corporate and business laws degree from the University of Paris II (1999) and a Master’s in International Politics from the University of Brussels (1995). He started his career in 1993 as European Affairs Officer in Rhône-Poulenc’s permanent EU delegation in Brussels. From 1997 to 2008, he held various positions and responsibilities as corporate and business lawyer within Rhodia and Rhône-Poulenc. From 2008 until this latest appointment, he was Assistant General Counsel of the Lafarge Group, in charge of the “Corporate and Securities Law” Department. Jérôme Vitulo is also Chairman of the “Business Law” Commission of the MEDEF (French employers’ association), of its “Companies & securities Laws and Corporate Governance” Committee, and a member of the “Operations and Financial Reporting of Issuers” Advisory Commission of the “Autorité des Marchés Financiers” (AMF – the French financial markets authority).
