Hempel’s Annual Report for 2014: Solid organic growth in the second half of the year delivered a record EUR 71 million net profit

Solid organic growth in the second half of the year ensured Hempel delivered a record net profit of EUR 71 million in 2014. The Group’s growth and earnings were in the top tier of the coatings industry and give the company the momentum needed for future growth.

Lyngby, Denmark, 27-3-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Hempel has released its Annual Report for 2014 and announced the following key figures:

  • Revenues increased to EUR 1,298 million, up from EUR 1,239 million in 2013
  • EBITDA of EUR 166 million, highest in Group history
  • Operating profit rose by EUR 4 million to EUR 129 million
  • Net profit increased to EUR 71 million

The Annual Report brings highlights of Hempel’s business and expansion around the world in 2014. In addition to summarising the performance of the Group and each segment, it tells the story of how Hempel has increased growth through carefully selected acquisitions and won customers with value-added solutions.
