Hans Adlkofer, Infineon Automotive Systems Group Vice President To Deliver Keynote Address at DVCon Europe 2015

Speech to Include Vision for the Future of Self-Driving Cars and Automotive Semiconductors

GRENOBLE, 6-10-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — The Design and Verification Conference (DVCon) & Exhibition Europe 2015 has announced that Hans Adlkofer, the Vice President of the Automotive Systems Group at Infineon Technologies, will deliver the keynote address for the conference on November 12th in Munich, Germany. The keynote will illustrate and project a vision for the future of automotive electronics, including self-driving cars, and the semiconductor developments required to realize this vision.

Automotive electronics has been transformed in recent years. Confronted by requirements such as functional safety, cyber security, and energy on demand, semiconductors for this application involve radical new design concepts and state-of-the-art development processes. These are set to drive semiconductor evolution across multiple sectors of the electronics industry as a whole, propelling a new breed of high-reliability capabilities. DVCon Europe 2015 has embraced these ideas within its technical program, with many papers on automotive related topics, as well as a panel of leading experts discussing Functional Safety in Automotive Design.

The Full Technical Program for DVCon Europe 15 is now available, covering the following themes:

  • System Level Design & Verification
  • Advanced Verification & Validation
  • Design for Functional Safety
  • IP Reuse and Design Automation
  • Analog and Mixed-Signal Design & Verification
  • Lower Power Techniques

Hr. Hans Adlkofer started his career at National Semiconductor focusing on automotive ASICs before moving to Giesecke & Devrient to develop a secure operating system for smart cards. At Siemens Semiconductor (today Infineon) he headed up an application center for Security and Smart Card ICs before moving to Singapore to run the company’s Asian business operation. In 2003 he took over responsibility for the Sensors Business Unit in Infineon Technologies, and in 2009 he was chosen to lead the system group activities in the automotive division of Infineon.

ABOUT DVCON EUROPE
