Groupe BPCE sells 4.66% stake in Banca Carige to Malacalza Investimenti for EUR 32.7 million

PARIS, 26-6-2015 — /EuropaWire/ — Groupe BPCE announces the signing of an agreement with Malacalza Investimenti regarding the disposal of a 4.66% stake in Banca Carige for a total consideration of Euro 32.7 million.

Following this transaction, Groupe BPCE will hold a 5.1% stake in Banca Carige.

This transaction is part of Groupe BPCE’s strategy of reducing or selling its stakes in non-core assets.

Barclays and Natixis have assisted Groupe BPCE in the context of this transaction.
