5-7-2013 — /europawire.eu/ — The 100th Atak store opened to the public on 19 June in Nizjni Novgorod, in the presence of Philippe Delalande, Chairman of Atak Russia. This 100th opening confirms the intention of Groupe Auchan to make Russia a priority objective. In fact, one third of the investments of the supermarkets division in 2012 were devoted to the development of Atak Russia, with 33 openings.

Many of these stores are located in the Moscow and Yaroslavl areas, but the expansion also involves more outlying regions, as in the case of the store opened on 19 June in the Nizjni Novgorod region, 450 kilometres from the capital.

With a sales area of 702 m², the Nizjni Novgorod store employs 14 staff. On the day it opened it served 2,700 customers.
