Deutsche Bank moves staff members from its “Große Gallusstraße” building and “Asset Management Center” to new Frankfurt city location

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 02-1-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — At a new Frankfurt city location, Deutsche Bank will be bringing together the staff members from its office tower at “Große Gallusstraße 10-14”, which the bank has been using in its city center area since 1971, and the staff members from the “Asset Management Center”, an office complex leased at Mainzer Landstraße 178-190.

The decision was made following a regular review of the bank’s portfolio of buildings and locations in Frankfurt am Main and Eschborn. In this context, the bank will also be examining the long-term use of the Frankfurt city center area now occupied between Großer Gallusstraße, Neuer Schlesingergasse and Junghofstraße. The bank will be conducting discussions with the City of Frankfurt and potential investors over the months to come and examine options for a new urban development of the area.

The new Frankfurt city location for staff members from the Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S) and Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) divisions is on Mainzer Landstraße at the corner of Weserstraße. The bank will be leasing an existing office building as well as a new building that is still to be constructed. The bank has already signed the related agreement with Tishman Speyer, the property owner and developer. The new location is in the direct vicinity of the Deutsche Bank towers, which were completely renovated between 2007 and 2011, and will have space for more than 2,000 staff members after construction is completed towards the end of 2016. The new building will be constructed in accordance with the LEED Gold Standard and the corresponding sustainability criteria, and will also feature a modern workplace concept.

The traditional bank building with the Deutsche Bank branch in the city center area at “Roßmarkt 18” will not be affected by the planned changes.
