Banque Internationale à Luxembourg’s CIO Yves Kuhn named Investment Manager of the Year at the Finance Management Awards

Luxembourg, 28-11-2014 — /EuropaWire/ — Banque Internationale à Luxembourg’s Chief Investment Officer Yves Kuhn was named Investment Manager of the Year during the Finance Management Awards’ gala ceremony on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. This was part of the Luxembourg Finance Management Summit, held at the city’s Hôtel Le Royal.

Yves Kuhn, in close collaboration with BIL’s Investment Management & Solutions (IMS) teams, defines new strategies in order to help manage the bank’s 3 billion euros under active discretionary management. BIL’s investment managers have turned in a risk-adjusted nominal performance that was ranked in the top tier for all discretionary-managed mandates.

The awards seek to recognise the financial sector’s best practices and services, as well as professionals for their skills and their involvement within their firms. The winners were selected by a jury of over 50 local CFOs, bank directors and other business executives.

The Luxembourg Finance Management Summit, formerly known as the Gala CFO World, has been organised since 2009. Every year, it is attended by more than 300 financial sector professionals.
