Altran announces appointments within its Technology & Innovation team

PARIS, 01-Sep-2016 — /EuropaWire/ — Altran, the global leader in innovation and high‐tech engineering consulting, has announced today a number of key nominations within its “Technology & Innovation team”.

  • Corinne Jouanny is appointed Group Innovation Officer and will manage, coordinate and foster all Group projects related to innovation and R&D;
  • Franco Bono and Mari Lymysalo are respectively appointed World Class Center Operations Director and World Class Center Deputy Operations Director. They will monitor, coordinate and develop the operations of the group’s World Class Centers and their integration into the Altran Group organization;
  • Frederic Arquier, who has joined the group as Technology strategy and Marketing manager will be in charge of the marketing of those World Class Center offers, along with the growing range of disruptive innovative solutions proposed by Altran across its many engineering domains.

After the appointment of Keith Williams as Chief Technology Officer in January 2016, Altran is pursuing the reinforcement of its organization to develop its “augmented value” strategy and strengthening its department « Technology & Innovation », including the development of its World Class Centers as part of its « Altran 2020. Ignition » strategic plan.

The five current World Class Centers offers a broad range of services within various segments, from the Internet of Things to Passive safety and Big Data. Altran aims at expanding the program to 15 World Class Centers by the end of 2020.

Biographies :

Corinne Jouanny is appointed Altran Group Innovation Officer. Reporting to Keith Williams, Chief Technology Officer, she will manage and coordinate Group projects related to innovation and R&D. She will also serve as Director of Innovation for Altran France and Altran Lab. Corinne Jouanny joined Altran in 1993, leading numerous R&D projects in a variety of sectors for many Altran international clients. Corinne is a pioneer in design thinking for industry, a global, systemic method that takes intoaccount the product’s ecosystem, and which puts the user at the center. Since 2004, she has developed new service offerings and innovation-focused projects putting people at the heart of developments. Corinne Jouanny was nominated 2014 “Woman in Innovation” by the French business magazine L’Usine Nouvelle. She is a co-founder of the Women In Engineering network and holds a PhD in Materials Science from the Ecole des Mines de Paris.

Mari Lymysalo has been Altran Group World Class Centers Deputy Operations Director since May 2016. After starting her career as Research Scientist at VTT Technical Research Center of Finland, she has been building innovative, technology based businesses in various roles: as management consultant, venture capitalist and corporate strategist. Prior to joining Altran, she was in charge of global business development and M&A at AVL List GmbH, the world market leader in automotive powertrain engineering and testing.
Mari Lymysalo holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Helsinki University of Technology, majoring in Systems and Operations Research.

Franco Bono has become Altran Group World Class Centers Operations Director in May 2016. Franco Bono was previously the CEO of ASP Spa (Advanced System Project) an Italian software engineering company specialized in Banking and Automotive market, which was acquired by Altran Group in 1999. Since then, , taken the lead of the Financial Services Industry division in 2006 and successfully developing its activities throughout Altran Italy. In 2013 Franco added to his scope the direction of the Energy & Life Sciences industries, and was appointed deputy Chief Operating Officer of Altran Italy in 2014.
Before Altran, Franco Bono has been working in consulting and technology for companies like Olivetti, Fiat Avio, Italdesign and San Paolo Wealth Management. Franco Bono holds a Degree in Economics from the University of Turin.

Frederic Arquier has joined Altran Group as Technology Strategy & Marketing manager in May 2016. Previously, Frederic Arquier was working as a marketing and business development consultant for telecom and media companies, including international groups such as Orange and startups. For over 10 years he has been involved in marketing and sales of innovative technological solutions. He began his career in the consumer electronics industry at Samsung, where he spent 3 years in the creation of a new business unit channeling the first large flat LCD and plasma screens into an emerging digital signage market. He then joined the French digital tv solution provider Netgem, and developed its business internationally for more than 6 years, including major TV project deployments with Telstra in Australia, Elisa in Finland, Monaco Telecom etc.
Frederic Arquier holds a Master in Management, Business Policy & Entrepreneurship, from the ESCP Europe.
